leafUnderstand your battery
Open the Battery tab for health, pack condition, individual cell-pair voltages, cell balance, temperatures and charging. State of health (SOH), Hx and amp-hour capacity are different readings, not three names for one score. Leaf Pro keeps the values together so you can interpret them in context.
The cell-voltage chart shows all 96 pairs. Tap a bar for detail, compare the minimum and maximum, and use the histogram to understand the distribution. A voltage-loss inspection is a separate, conditional check; “not run” is not a clean bill of health.
Battery-health cards, pack condition, cells, balance and inspection belong to the one-time paid unlock. Pack temperatures and live charging are part of the everyday feature set.
Record the evidence with Full Assessment
An assessment records a drive and builds a report from the readings that were actually captured. It looks at capacity, cell behaviour at rest and under load, temperature and coverage. View your assessment history and export a PDF when you want to keep a record or discuss the car with a buyer or specialist.
See where the energy goes
The Drive tab brings together pack voltage, current and power; motor figures where supported; motion; climate and accessory loads; tyre pressures; and the 12 V system. The power-history chart makes changes over time easier to see. A car that does not report a signal is shown as missing, not silently treated as zero.
Turn drives into useful records
- Start and stop recording yourself, or use Auto record to follow the car’s power state.
- Review distance, time, energy drawn, energy regenerated, net use and efficiency.
- See route maps and elevation when location and sensor data were available.
- Tap, select, pinch and pan through linked power, speed, charge and elevation charts.
- Compare journeys side by side, including similar routes, and explore usage by day, week, month or year.
- Export CSV records or create a square drive-share image.
- Estimate electricity costs and compare them against a petrol, diesel or LPG car.
Start with the journey guide. Recording cadence depends on the adapter and the car; a selected interval is a target, not a guaranteed sample rate.
Make the dashboard yours
Star the readings you care about and arrange your own dashboard. Set distance, temperature and pressure units; enter your electricity tariff; choose your battery pack and model if detection needs correcting. Set reconnect behaviour and adjust polling rates to suit your connection.
Advanced tools, with clear boundaries
The current service catalogue contains VSP pedestrian-sound settings for supported 2013-and-newer vehicles. It is behind a warning and a switch that resets at launch. Service changes can affect safety and legality; read the service guide before opening it. Leaf Pro does not currently provide a general trouble-code reader, code clearing, TPMS relearning or a battery-health reset.
Developer tools include an adapter console, diagnostic reports and replay of an existing journey. The diagnostics guide explains how to use them when reporting a problem.
Know what is available
The app is coming soon to iOS and Android. Live readings need a compatible OBD2 adapter. Some vehicle signals and background behaviour vary by model and operating system. Read vehicle compatibility, adapter guidance and purchase details before choosing your setup.
