1. Operator and scope
Leaf Pro and leaf-pro.com are provided by GK Micro Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 08099992, with registered office at 2 Brampton Close, Kirkby, Liverpool, England, L32 1BD (“GK Micro”, “we”, “us”). Contact admin@leaf-pro.com. These terms cover our website and, where supplied, the Leaf Pro app and associated services. App-store terms also apply to your download and purchases. If a mandatory store term conflicts with these terms for that transaction, the mandatory term prevails.
The app is currently coming soon. Website descriptions explain the implemented product but are not a promise of a release date, universal compatibility or a future feature. A store offering available at purchase identifies the product and local price you are buying.
2. Your licence
Subject to these terms and applicable store rules, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own lawful purposes on compatible devices you control. The software and website are licensed or made available, not sold to you as intellectual property. Rights not expressly granted are reserved.
You must not redistribute or commercially exploit the app or site content without permission, bypass purchase verification, interfere with service security, access another person’s records without authority or use the service unlawfully. Restrictions do not prevent activities or rights that cannot lawfully be restricted, including applicable rights concerning interoperability, research and open-source components.
3. Vehicle use and safety
Use the app only with a vehicle you own or have permission to access. You are responsible for choosing suitable hardware, following vehicle and adapter instructions, maintaining your device and operating safely. Set up the app while parked. Do not hold, adjust or study it while driving. Follow road laws, vehicle warnings and qualified professional advice.
Service functions can write settings to a vehicle and may affect safety, legality, reliability and warranty arrangements. They are optional and are not needed for ordinary monitoring. Do not disable legally required pedestrian warnings or use a setting you do not understand. An acknowledgement in the app does not make an unsafe or unlawful act permissible.
4. Readings, reports and estimates
Leaf Pro displays supported reported data and calculations based on it. Readings can be incomplete, stale, delayed, misidentified or affected by adapters, firmware, car condition and software errors. Availability varies by model and region. Estimates of health, capacity, range, time, efficiency and cost are not guarantees.
An assessment or PDF is not an independent battery certificate, manufacturer diagnosis, valuation, roadworthiness inspection, warranty acceptance or prediction of remaining battery life. The app does not replace physical inspection or qualified repair advice. Check important decisions against appropriate independent evidence. Do not rely on an estimated zero-range point as a safe distance to drive.
5. Purchases, restoration and refunds
The described battery-health unlock is a one-time in-app purchase. Your store displays the actual product, price, taxes and payment terms before purchase. Hardware, mobile data and third-party services are not included unless expressly stated. There is no recurring Leaf Pro subscription in the current offering.
Purchase restoration depends on store eligibility, account and verification. An entitlement on one platform is not automatically transferable to another. Refunds, cancellation and remedies are governed by applicable law and the relevant store process. Nothing here removes statutory rights concerning faulty or misdescribed digital content or services.
A one-time payment does not mean a guarantee that every future OS, adapter or vehicle will remain compatible forever. However, this does not reduce any legally required update, conformity, support or remedy obligation.
6. Third-party services and availability
Adapters, vehicle systems, phone operating systems, app stores, maps, elevation services, advertising and connectivity are provided wholly or partly by third parties. Their availability and behaviour are outside our complete control. Their own terms may apply. We do not promise uninterrupted background polling, continuous internet access, complete journey capture or error-free external services.
We may make reasonable changes for security, compatibility, legal compliance or product maintenance. Where a change materially affects a paid service or your rights, we will provide any notice and remedy required by law. We will not use a general change clause to retrospectively remove mandatory rights.
7. Your records and submissions
Keep independent backups of records important to you. Deleting an app, changing devices, storage failure or an interrupted session can affect local records. An export sent to a third party is outside the app’s deletion controls.
You retain rights in material you provide. You grant us only the permission reasonably needed to receive, store and use support submissions to answer you, diagnose the issue and maintain the service. Do not send unlawful material or information you have no right to share. Personal information is handled under the relevant privacy policy, not an unlimited ownership claim over your data.
8. Responsibility and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
For consumers, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill, subject to applicable law. We are not responsible for losses that are not legally attributable to us, for your use contrary to clear safety instructions, or for independent third-party failures except where the law makes us responsible. Your statutory remedies for digital content and services remain available.
If you use the service for business purposes, then to the extent permitted by law we exclude indirect or consequential loss and loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity or goodwill. Subject to the non-excludable liabilities above, our aggregate contractual liability to a business user arising from the service is limited to the greater of £100 and the fees that user paid for Leaf Pro in the preceding 12 months. This business limitation does not apply to a consumer’s mandatory rights.
We do not warrant that every diagnostic interpretation will identify every fault. That limitation describes the tool’s scope; it does not excuse liability that the law requires us to accept.
9. Misuse and termination
We may restrict access to our online services where reasonably necessary to address serious misuse, security risks or legal requirements. Where practical and appropriate we will explain the reason and permit correction. You can stop using the app or site at any time. Ending use does not itself erase exported records, outstanding payment duties or information we must lawfully retain.
10. Names and intellectual property
Our original branding, software and editorial material are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Third-party and open-source components retain their own licences. Nissan and LEAF are used to identify relevant vehicles; Leaf Pro is independent of and not endorsed by Nissan. No trademark ownership in Nissan’s names is claimed.
11. Disputes and governing law
Please contact us first if you have a complaint so we can try to resolve it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence. Consumers retain any right to bring proceedings in a competent local court. For business users, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory law.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue so far as legally possible. A failure to enforce a right immediately is not a waiver. Changes apply prospectively with any notice or consent required by law; continued use is not a substitute for consent where consent is required.
