Read the Charging card
The Charging card brings together available charging-state and power information. Live power is measured at the vehicle’s reporting point; it should not automatically be treated as the electricity meter’s wall input. Cable, charger and conversion losses can make those numbers differ.
State of charge is the battery controller’s reading, which may differ from the dashboard percentage. Time to full is an estimate that accounts for the app’s charging model. It can move as current tapers or conditions change. Do not schedule a critical departure on the assumption that a live estimate is a promise.
Read pack temperatures
The Pack temperatures card displays the available sensor readings and their labels. Early ZE0 cars have four sensor positions; later supported families use three. Outside temperature is a separate signal. A warm pack after charging and a cold pack before departure describe different conditions.
Use the car’s own warnings and manufacturer instructions for charging decisions. A phone app is not a substitute for the vehicle’s protection systems. Stop and seek appropriate help if the car shows a serious warning.
Understand charge counters
Quick-charge and L1/L2 counts are controller counters where available. They are not a complete energy ledger, and their meaning is not “this battery has been harmed this many times”. Some early cars do not answer the counter requests used by Leaf Pro. Blank counters therefore do not mean the car has never charged.
Estimate the cost separately
Enter your tariff and charging efficiency under Settings → Electricity & charging cost. Journey battery energy and metered electricity are not identical. If your charger gives a dependable wall-energy total, use it to calibrate your estimate. See cost settings.
For slow charging, compare the charging troubleshooting article with your vehicle manual rather than assuming the battery has failed.
