A short journey was not saved
Check Settings → Journey logging → Minimum distance. The current default discards sessions shorter than 1 km or 1 mile according to the selected distance unit. This helps remove accidental starts and movements around a driveway. Lower the threshold before a short test if you want to keep it.
Auto record did not start
Confirm Auto record is enabled, the adapter is connected, and the app receives the necessary car power-state information. Check the background-location permission if the app was not on screen. A saved setting cannot make a terminated app or unreachable adapter deliver readings.
The route or height is missing
Review GPS logging and the phone’s location permission. A poor fix, tunnel or battery restriction can produce gaps. Elevation may use barometer, GNSS or a terrain fallback depending on what was captured. Open a finished journey with internet access if terrain lookup is needed; see maps and elevation.
The chart has gaps or stops early
Check whether the time corresponds to a screen lock, car power-off, adapter loss or app restart. The selected logging interval is only a target; a slow adapter can deliver less frequent rows. An interrupted recording may be recoverable, but no recovery can recreate observations never received.
The cost is blank or looks wrong
Verify tariff, currency, charging efficiency and the recorded energy. For a fuel comparison, the selected fuel profile also needs a price and efficiency. A journey without dependable distance cannot produce a dependable Wh/km figure.
Report what happened
Include the journey start time, recording mode, phone, OS, adapter and relevant settings. Review exports for precise location and identifiers before sharing with support. Keep a copy of an important recording before reinstalling the app as a troubleshooting step.
