leafUse in-app Help
The Help button opens a conversation with Leaf Pro support. A sent message starts periodic checks for a reply while the app is open; the current interval is two minutes. An unread indicator appears when appropriate. Replies are not a guaranteed instant chat service.
Support messages can include the text you enter, an app-generated device identifier, platform, app version and an optional contact email. See the privacy policy before sending sensitive details.
Inspect the adapter console
Settings → Advanced → Adapter console shows raw adapter lines and poll errors. It helps distinguish a failed reply from a display issue. These details are primarily for troubleshooting; a raw line is not a reason to try undocumented commands against a car.
Enable developer tools
Tap the About card seven times to reveal Developer mode. The Developer screen has a diagnostic log with filters and a Copy report action. Advanced display settings can show data sources below values. In developer mode, the power chart can copy the visible raw values as CSV.
Review any report before sharing it. Logs may contain vehicle identifiers, adapter identifiers or other context. Send only what is needed and avoid posting full logs publicly by default.
Replay an existing journey
Developer → Demo mode lets you select a saved journey and replay it through the app. Record a journey first; the control explains when no recording is available. Replay is a simulated source built from that journey’s actual recorded fields. Signals the recording never captured are not invented.
Turn demo mode off to disconnect the replay before returning to a real adapter. A replay screen is not a current reading from the car. The first-run illustrative cards and example assessment are separate demonstrations.
Keep the app version with the report
Settings → About shows the app version. The app checks store update information at startup or resume subject to its checking interval; unpublished apps may have no listing result. Include your version when reporting a mismatch with this guide.
